From a camouflaged tent, with binoculars and headphones, the audience follows the therapeutic aftermath of the Winter War of 1939-40. By listening to the fictional radio channel “Post Memory Radio,” the audience hears authentic interviews on epigenetics, personal post-war memories, and more poetic reflections from the cold. With the audience seated on the edges of a field in a public forest - amid everyday public life - two performers, dressed in white snow camouflage, bring history into the present. Using therapeutic and choreographic methods, The Winter War explores inherited traumas, national mourning processes, and the effects of collective war memory. By addressing our current period of military defense build-up, this performance tunes to the war history of the Nordic region. As a deliberately failing attempt to perform ski ballet on roller skis, The Winter War is simultaneously an outdoor, immersive, physical radio drama — and the birth of a new genre: ski theatre. This is what happens when ski ballet meets roller skiing and our (invisible) inherited war history. THE SLUT PROJECT research became both a work-in-progress performance at the residency-program HAUT EKSIL in Copenhagen and the workshop and practice WITCH-DANCING. WITCH-DANCING“Witch-dancing” is a practice created during the research for The Slut Project as a movement research. &nbsp;Our thoughts upon witch-dancing were published in the publication ENTROPA’s issue “grænser” and practiced at their releasparty. Moving or dancing in total darkness by yourself in a space shared with your fellow participants, this practice explores moving without any external gazes. Dancing without taking responsibility for ones movements and exploring a state of boundlessness and trance. Bravo Toga invites every participant to freely and with all ones preconceptions, deisres, imagination -&nbsp; and even biases - relate and connect to ones inner witch and witchcraft. To us witchcraft are sacred, feminine knowledge - from time to time - highly misunderstood and mistreated as something else.
